One of the reason I love the BMO Vancouver Marathon is that they are very active on social media. That goes back to 2010 when my (now) friend Jon Suk ran social media strategy for the event. He clearly set them up well for the future and the race organizers continue to do a great job building excitement in the weeks and months leading up to the race.
In the last couple of weeks they’ve been posting pics on Instagram taken at various places along the marathon and half marathon routes. Check out these photos and you’ll understand why this course has been rated as one of the top ten in the world.
